Annual Credit Plan

 

Based on the "Potential Linked Plan" prepared by NABARD for all the 18 districts of the State, LDMs prepared District Credit Plans for the year 2010-11, which have been duly approved by the respective DLCCs. The consolidated position of annual credit flow estimated in the State, as well as PLP prepared by NABARD is presented below.

The projections made by NABARD and the LDMs for ACP 2010-11 fell  was lower than the actual for the year 2009-10. Taking into consideration a growth of 15% in each sector, the revised ACP for 2010-11 arrived at 7611.87 and appears to be achievable.

 

LDMs are advised to arrange for Bank wise allocation of targets for the Current Year (2010-11) taking into account actuals of 2009-10. 

 Apart from issuing normal KCC, financing Agricultural investment and Allied activities and implementation of various Government Sponsored Schemes, the rural branches in our State have to actively promote lending to the following categories also with a positive frame of mind to propel the economic growth in rural areas into a higher orbit.

  • Tenant farmers.

  • Micro irrigation activities (as large portion of cultivatable areas inour State is under mono cropping pattern).

  • All SHGs with a satisfactory track record of six months.

  • Common Interest Groups..

  • Weaver societies currently dormant (for reactivating them)..

  • Agri clinics, Agri. business centre and Organic Farming units (in particular, those promoted by Agri. graduates).

  • Combined harvestors.

  • Processing facilities for MFP and bamboo.

  • Plantation of Jatropha on private waste lands.

  • Youth/women groups in rural areas for setting up of small extraction units for processing of jatropha oil seeds locally.

  • Bio gas units.
